Kerry is proud to be the exclusive extraction partner of the Café Femenino coffee program, an ethical sourcing model started in 2003 that’s committed to ending the cycle of poverty affecting women coffee farmers around the world.
Café Femenino provides members with direct payment for their coffee, including a Café Femenino premium, as well as legal rights to the land they farm to produce Fair Trade Certified™ and organic-certified coffees. The program also empowers women coffee farmers with financial and decision-making power through leadership positions within their cooperatives.
Together, we help deliver high quality fair trade organic coffee extracts to food and beverage brands while improving the lives of women coffee producers around the world. This partnership further strengthens Kerry’s Beyond the Horizon sustainability program and commitment to improving the livelihoods of suppliers and their communities.
