He has been widely recognized for his entrepreneurial success and impact, including Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year in Greater Washington, the Washington DC Business Hall of Fame, Beverage Industry magazine’s Executive of the Year, Beverage World’s #1 Disruptor and Partnership for Healthier America’s CEO of the Year.

Edmond Scanlon was appointed Executive Director and Group Chief Executive Officer in October 2017. Edmond is a highly experienced leader in the global food and beverage industry having spent almost 20 years in senior roles across the Group. Edmond brings a strategic mindset to drive Group performance and growth as well as significant financial and operational expertise. Edmond joined Kerry’s graduate programme in Ireland in 1996. Over his career he has held leadership roles in the Group’s Flavours and Applied Health and Nutrition businesses as well as heading up the Group’s activities in China and the Asia Pacific region.
Spike Mendelsohn

From chef and restaurateur to television personality, product developer and consultant, Spike is a force to be reckoned within the culinary world.
In 2008, Spike opened up the first restaurant in his culinary empire on Washington DC’s Capitol Hill: Good Stuff Eatery. His burger joint quickly became a favourite of political elites, including President Barack Obama. This success inspired a cookbook (The Good Stuff Cookbook) and led to multiple locations across the country and overseas. Following the opening of Good Stuff Eatery, Spike opened up We, The Pizza, Béarnaise and Santa Rosa Taqueria. Spike’s newest restaurant, PLNT Burger, is dedicated to crafting and redefining some of America’s favourite foods without the use of any animal products.

Therese is wife to Paul and Mum to two little rays of sunshine Lily, four years old and Tom, two years old. She has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (BAgrSc) in Food Science from University College Dublin (UCD) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Therese joined Kerry’s graduate programme in 2005 and over the past fifteen years has held a number of technical, commercial and leadership roles. Eighteen months ago she took on the role of Chief Technology Officer for Kerry’s business in Europe & Russia where she leads the RD&A team to inspire food and nourish life, partnering with our customers to co-create sustainable nutrition solutions. She is a non-executive director on the board of Beaumont Hospital Foundation and GS1 Ireland.
